Direct Debit - The easy way to buy and renew your Club Membership

UK based customers (sorry, not available to outside the UK) now have the option to pay for new membership by Direct Debit in place of credit card. The same applies with renewals, and once setup annual renewal is automatic. Bachmann have teamed up with GoCardless who are authorised by the financial conduct authority and ISO27001 certified for security standards. 

Direct Debit is the most convenient way of paying for your membership with a simple, clear, and secure registration form that will ensure your membership renews on time every year.

This payment option is for UK Club Memberships only, not for Product purchases which must still be made using Card.

  • RENEWING? If you are renewing your existing membership you do not need to Register again, simply proceed to the link below to setup Direct Debit.

 

 

Please note that your Club Membership starts on the date payment is successfully debited.

How it works


  • As a new customer you should follow the link above to pre-register your intended membership (step 1) then Register on this website to create your login account (Step 2), then complete the Direct Debit form. Customer Services will be in touch in due course to confirm setup of your chosen Membership, but please do not order this through the Checkout otherwise you be paying twice!
  • As a returning customer wanting to Renew, you can do so up to 3 months in advance of the Membership 'Expires end of' date. Payment will be taken on this date or the working day preceding if the date falls on a weekend for example.
  • After you sign-up for Direct Debit please allow up to 5 working days for the new bank instruction to be setup. 
  • Payments are not taken immediately: for New Customers this is 5 working days after successful Direct Debit setup as advised via GoCardless. For Renewals on the anniversary of your renewal date provided the payment has cleared through your bank. Subsequent Membership renewal payments are collected automatically on this anniversary date. Either way, you will always benefit from a full 12 months membership. 
  • If your membership has already expired within 30 days of completing the Direct Debit mandate then payment will be taken as close as possible to the anniversary date. You will be informed via an email from GoCardless before hand. 
  • If the Direct Debit payment fails for any reason you will be contacted by GoCardless. You may choose to pay by card in which case you should contact the Club office and inform us, and cancel the Direct Debit with your bank.
